Dog Stations Downtown

As more residents move to Downtown San Diego there will be a corresponding increase in pets, especially dogs. To both assist dog owners and encourage them to clean up after their pets the Downtown Property and Business Improvement District (PBID) Management Committee funds the "Dog Stations Downtown" program, which is administered by the Clean & Safe program. Clean & Safe Ambassadors replenish over 60 stations in all five Downtown neighborhoods with doggie bags purchased with funding they provide. The unobtrusive dog stations dispense scented blue bags used for picking up animal waste. The dog stations are found throughout Downtown, particularly near parks, and are always conveniently located near trash cans.

 Be a good neighbor!

Always clean after your pet. In addition, discourage your pet from relieving itself in the doorways of homes and businesses.
